Our Team
Before we founded Current Co. in 2020, we were colleagues at The Atlantic magazine. During our tenure, we had the great fortune of working with blue chip brands like Audi, Boeing, Google, Nestlé, and PhRMA, and producing over 200 events a year, including the Aspen Ideas Festival and The Atlantic Festival.
We live and breathe events, which is why we founded Current Co.
Jen Corey Baca, Co-Founder
Jen Corey Baca is a seasoned business development executive and event producer specializing in client management, brand storytelling, and event technology platforms. She was previously the Director of Business Development for AtlanticLIVE, the events division of The Atlantic.
Prior to joining The Atlantic, Jen was the Director of Corporate Events and Business Development at McChrystal Group, LLC and Director of Special Events at J Street Group, LLC, a boutique international event production company.
Jen received her Bachelor of Arts in Music from American University, and her Master of Business Administration from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
Logan Elsass, Co-Founder
Logan Elsass is an accomplished event producer and experience curator. Working with international and domestic brands, she is known for high-touch client management, creating impactful event experiences, and building bespoke audiences.
Before starting Current Co., Logan was the Senior Director of Events and Experience at AtlanticLIVE, the events division of The Atlantic. Among her accomplishments at the media juggernaut, she produced the award-winning Innovation Summit series, steered the global launch of Quartz, and established a division of white label events to expand the brand’s portfolio.
Prior to her eight years at The Atlantic, Logan led event teams at Seed Media Group and BlackBook magazine. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Rollins College.
